A fire station playset that brings little dreams to life. Children must never play with fire, but they can certainly pretend to be firefighters!

Fire! Fire! Call the fire brigade, quickly! The siren sounds the alarm, and our brave firefighter rushes to the pole, slides down and jumps into the red fire engine. Let's go!
No need to worry about danger in this pretend rescue: the team has all its equipment ready, including a fire extinguisher, a hydrant, a ladder, a hook and rescue tools to help our brave friends bring the situation under control.
If an even more urgent emergency arises, we can call on aerial support from the helicopter, with a little dog nearby to lend a paw. Just how exciting and adventurous is a firefighter's life? Find out together with City Fire Station, an impressive playset packed with fun adventures. Whether children play alone or with friends, there is plenty to enjoy. It encourages sharing and teaches children how firefighters solve problems in emergencies and keep the city safe.
Did you know? Why is red associated with firefighters?
Did you know that red is the colour most people think of when firefighters are mentioned? When we see a large red truck speeding along with its siren blaring and a team of people in uniform, we immediately know there is a fire somewhere. Fire engines in many countries are mostly red, although some countries or cities use yellow or lime green because they are easier to see in low light. But have you ever wondered why? There are several theories.
- Some say the earliest fire brigades emerged in the early 1800s and lacked the resources to invest in firefighting equipment, leaving them with few options. Red was the cheapest colour for fire engines.
- Others believe that red was chosen for visibility. A large truck in such a striking colour would be impossible to miss, helping it reach an emergency at a time when most vehicles were black.
- Finally, there is a psychological theory suggesting that red was chosen because of its association with danger and urgency.
We cannot be 100% certain which explanation is right, but these theories are not without reason.
The fire station, fire engine and helicopter are all red!

Whatever the historical reasons, a tall red building in a city brings a fire station to mind. To honour this dangerous work, Hape created a playset with realistic lights and sounds for scenes of rescuing people from fires. Children can enjoy hours of meaningful pretend play.
Children aged 3 years and up will enjoy playing alone, with friends or with siblings. With its charming details, bright colours and endless inspiration, this fire station playset is sure to win plenty of hearts. Try pressing the siren button and get ready for the special effects: blue and red lights begin flashing as the siren sounds, making playtime even more realistic and exciting. Caution: This set contains small figures and accessories and is labelled for ages 3 years and up. Keep it out of reach of younger children who still put objects in their mouths, and always check that the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
Fire brigade headquarters has two floors and a rooftop to explore

This fire station is comfortable, practical and equipped with everything you need: a place where our firefighter heroes can recharge and prepare for emergencies. The carefully decorated wooden structure has two floors plus a playable rooftop! Its open side gives children plenty of room to reach in and play.
The ground-floor office has a switchboard for sending out calls for help, a city map, a computer and an information archive for coordinating operations. Next door is the garage, where the included red fire engine is parked. Pull the looped cord on the side and the floor ramp rises! The fire engine is ready to race out, opening the garage automatically. Amazing!
Upstairs, there is a recreation and training area, with a pool table and basketball court for some quality downtime. If an emergency arises, as soon as the siren stops sounding (press the button to switch it on or off), our hero is ready for action. Take the firefighter to the spiral pole and watch him swing down in style. This playset has another surprise waiting: aerial support! A helicopter awaits on the rooftop, ready to provide even faster help. Details such as the satellite antenna and fire brigade flag add an extra touch of style.
A fire station playset with so many ways to play

The first thing that catches your eye is the playset's overall structure. It has a sturdy, spacious wooden frame, plenty of details and a full range of accessories, finished in bright, non-toxic colours. As children explore all these details, they will discover just how many ways there are to play. Its size and variety of activities allow children to share the fun without competing for the same things.
With multiple rooms, two or more children can play together without getting in one another's way. There are also two types of vehicles for extra fun: a helicopter and a fire engine. Before long, children will discover that playing together is even more enjoyable. Sound the siren, open the vehicle's rear door and send the firefighter sliding down. Let's start the engines!
Firefighting vehicles: a helicopter and a truck
The firefighter is ready! Give us the location of the emergency and the fire engine will head out straight away. Meanwhile, the helicopter is scanning the area from above. All clear!
The fire engine and helicopter are two more additions that children will love. These vehicles come with a full range of features and lovely details.
- Sturdily made, the red fire engine lets children enjoy hours of play! Its wheels really turn, and its ladder moves up and down to reach different heights. Is there a kitten stuck in a tree? We're on our way!
- The included helicopter is red too, with a top rotor that children can spin with their fingers. Place the figure in the pilot's seat, and everything is ready for a wonderful adventure.
And let's not forget the firefighter figure. Fully equipped and dressed in a complete uniform, this firefighter has bendable arms and legs so he can sit inside. His hands can hold the hose nozzle and grip the pole or ladder as he swings down. To complete the team, a clever Dalmatian joins him as his loyal helper. All these toys in one set make sharing more fun, so children can play together.
During playtime, parents can also take the opportunity to teach children about safety: never play with matches or lighters, leave the area immediately and tell an adult if they see a fire, and remember that the fire emergency number in Thailand is 199.
