Triangular Activity Box Wins a British Independent Toy Award
A total of 900 toy and baby-products retailers in the UK selected and voted for the best toys at the Independent Toy Awards. In 2016, Hape’s triangular \"Take Along Activity Box\" won the Bronze Award in the wooden toys category.
The British Independent Toy Awards are organized by the toy website ToyShop UK, which has around 900 independent retailers registered on its platform. The website encourages communication between customers and retailers while providing online customers with useful information about suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers.
In the toy industry, retailers play a central role in the entire operation. They regularly communicate, trade, and exchange product updates with brand owners and manufacturers, while also working directly with customers. Retailers understand market trends and can offer valuable feedback. Products recommended by retailers therefore earn recognition not only through their sales performance but also through their reputation among shoppers.
Other Hape toys that have won Independent Toy Awards include Pound and Tap and Walk-A-Long Puppy. Activity boxes like this are also great for practicing finger movements. Find more ideas in 5 Activities to Develop Fine Motor Skills.
Note: The Take-Along Activity Box may no longer be available in the store, but you can still choose from other Hape activity boxes and toys for 1-year-olds. Always choose toys according to the age recommendation on the box.
